ALEX IS THE 2011 F1 WORLD CHAMPION !

The crash between Alex & Jay at the fifth buoy, fortunately without physical onsequences for bothi, closed the 2011 World Championship in favor of Alex. Nobody wanted it to end this way but, you know, the races are like this!

The 2011 F1 World Championship ends with the victory of Alex folloewd by Jay & Thani.

The today races ends with the victory of Ahmed followed by his teammate Thani & Philippe C.

Here we are ... with the traditional race in Sharjah ends the 2011 F1 World Championship.

Both Alex and Jay could be the new World Champ because the Qatar Team mathemathically won the title after the results in Abu Dhabi.

Alex wins in Abu Dhabi!

Today Alex wins in Abu Dhabi his most important race of the 2011 championship, his second victory of this season and his third of his F1 career. Well done Alex!

Alex starts on pole and always leader the race showing a great ability. Jay gains the third position.

As usual the filan act of the World Championship will take place in the Emirates. It starts today in adu Dhabi yhe 2011 Grand Prix of UAE.

Today will be devoted to technical inspections and registration teams, tomorrow there will be the qualifications and on friday there will be the 2011 Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi.

Liuzhou - October 2

In a really hard day, Alex manages to bring home a good 5 th place with the necessary points to stay second in the world rankings.

During the warm-up Alex has an engine problem and it needs to be replaced, so loses the second grid position earned in qualifying yesterday. Starting from the bottom Alex rises position up to fifth place despite a further engine failure on the last lap! Bad luck for Jay who is disqualified for missing a buoy on the last lap.

Race won by Al Qamzi followed by his team mate Al Hameli and Chiappe.

Liuzhou - October 1

With bad weather conditions due to rain and strong wind, it took place today on the Liu River at 13 local time (9 am in Italy) the qualifying session for the F1 Grand Prix of China: Alex has qualified second with only fourteen cents second from the pole of the Abu Dhabi team driver Amed Al Hameli. Jay has qualified fifth.

Liuzhou - September 30

It starts today with the technical controls the 2011 G.P. of China that takes place in the city of Liuzhou on the Liu River 500 km far from Hong Kong.

The race is still in doubt because of Typhoon Nesat arriving from the Philippines and is heading to Hong Kong, which is already on high alert with the closing of schools, businesses and government agencies.
Weather permitting, today's the day will be devoted to technical inspections and registration teams.

It took place today in Kiev, as additional event, the President's Cup with the match race formula. A huge audience today, as in recent days.

A great job by Alex that took the third place!

Alex is ranked fifth in the Ukraine GP.

Something's wrong during the start but a great cmeback n the last laps, aother great performance in Ukraine.

Jay is second, Al Hameli wins and Selio third.

Alex wins in Kazan!

Today Alex wins his first GP with the Qatar team, the sencond of his F1 career. Well done Alex!

Run very fast from the pontoon he always keep the first place also after two hard restart. Good job also for Jay that starts from fifteenth (due to a engine change after the qualification) and gains the third place.

Alex, after gaining the best time in the morning free practise, repeats the result getting the pole position with a great time (44.63). Jay, despite various engine problems, gains the third place (44.91).

It opens today the thirteenth edition of the F1 G.P. of Portugal!

Alex and his staff of the Qatar Team, in Portugal since last Tuesday, today will be busy with the technical and administrative controls but tomorrow they'll come in the heart of competition with free practise and qualifications.

Alex will use the new DAC hull of the Guido Cappellini shipyard that gave already good results during the tests.

F1 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - THE 2011 SEASON IS STARTED!

February 2011 - Prize Ceremony of the 2010 season

On Saturday 12 of February took place in Riccione into the Grand Hotel Des Bains the Prize Ceremony of the 2010 powerboat season in the presence of all the FIM and CONI authority. Alex received the bronze medal for the third place of the 2010 F1 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.

2011 F1 World Championship - Alex & Qatar Marine Sports Federation : the new challenge!

The 2011 season opens with a very important news : Alex Carella enters into the  F1 QATAR TEAM !

Another very important challenge for this young driver after the great debut in 2010 with the Mad Croc Team that saw Alex gain the bronze medal into his first year in F1 in a great challange that made him 2010 ROOKIE OF THE YEAR !!!

Alex, for his first time on a DAC hull, will join the great american champ Jay Price, F1 World Champion in 2008.
